Margin: External filaments present; .5-2 µm long, 3.5-6.2 µm in diameter, pigmented (when mature, brown throughout or paler upwards), numerous, growing all across the lower half of the ascocarp, smooth or rough, not ramified or ramified, dichotomously branched, septate (2-3-septate).

Asci: 5-13 asci per ascocarp, sub-globose or clavate, not stipitate, 55-71 µm long, 25-40 µm wide; dehiscence unitunicate.

Ascospores: 1–2, c. 4, or c. 8 per ascus, spores 3-6 per ascus, subglobose or ellipsoid, 15-24 µm long, 9-12 µm wide.

Conidiophores: Basal cells 18.6-46.5 µm long, 6.2-9.3 µm wide. Conidium Formation: Conidiogenous cells single. Conidia: Ellipsoid or cylindrical; 21.7-40 µm long, 12.4-18.6 µm wide.
