Reproduction Strategy: With sexual (and possible asexual) stages. Ascocarps: Cleistothecioid, orbicular, forming independently from the host thallus or mycelium, scattered or in loose groups, (.105)-.125-.15-(.163) mm in diam.. Margin: External filaments present (apically rounded); mycelioid, straight, .5-1 µm long, 5-7.5 µm in diameter, hyaline, few or numerous, 3-14-(21) per mm², growing all across the lower half of the ascocarp, flexuose (sometimes, or curved), smooth or rough, thin, not ramified (mostly), aseptate.

Asci: (5)-7-11 asci per ascocarp, not stipitate (rarely subsessile) or distinctly stipitate, 54-87.5 µm long, (26)-31-51 µm wide; dehiscence unitunicate.

Ascospores: c. 4 to c. 8 per ascus, spores 4-6 per ascus, broadly ellipsoid or ovoid, (16)-19-23 µm long, (11)-12.5-15 µm wide; septa absent; wall pale brown (yellowish).

Conidiomata: Present; hyphomycetous.

Conidiophores: Pseudoidium-type; not branched. Conidium Formation: Conidiogenous cells single. Conidia: Cylindrical; macroconidial, not branched, 31-41 µm long, 11-16.5 µm wide; aseptate.
