Reproduction Strategy: With sexual (and possible asexual) stages. Ascocarps: Cleistothecioid, orbicular, forming independently from the host thallus or mycelium, scattered or in loose groups, (.07)-.085-.125 mm in diam.. Margin: External filaments present (number variable; apex often somewhat pointed); straight, .5-2-(3) µm long, 4-8 µm in diameter, hyaline or faintly pigmented (below), numerous, 5-24 per mm², growing all across the lower half of the ascocarp or more or less between the lower and upper hald of the ascocarp (sometimes), smooth or somewhat rough, thin, not ramified, septate.

Asci: 3-7 asci per ascocarp, not stipitate or indistinctly stipitate, 40-60-(70) µm long, 30-40-(50) µm wide; dehiscence unitunicate.

Ascospores: c. 4 or c. 8 per ascus, spores (5)-6-8 per ascus, ellipsoid or ovoid, 13.5-20 µm long, 10-14 µm wide; septa absent.

Conidiomata: Present; hyphomycetous.

Conidiophores: Pseudoidium-type; not branched. Conidium Formation: Conidiogenous cells single. Conidia: Ellipsoid or cylindrical; macroconidial, not branched, 22-34 µm long, 10-12 µm wide; aseptate.
