Reproduction Strategy: With sexual (and possible asexual) stages. Ascocarps: Cleistothecioid, orbicular, forming independently from the host thallus or mycelium, scattered or in loose groups, (.07)-.08-.115-(.12) mm in diam.. Margin: External filaments present (appendages mostly short, shorter than the cleistothecial diam., only some of them longer); mycelioid, straight, .25-3 µm long, 4-10 µm in diameter, hyaline or pigmented (sometimes, yellowish to brown below and paler upwards), few, growing all across the lower half of the ascocarp, smooth or rough, thin, not ramified, septate.

Asci: 3-6 asci per ascocarp, not stipitate or indistinctly stipitate, 45-65 µm long, 30-45 µm wide; dehiscence unitunicate.

Ascospores: c. 4 per ascus, spores 3-5 per ascus, ellipsoid or ovoid, 15-24 µm long, 10-16 µm wide; septa absent.

Conidiomata: Present; hyphomycetous.

Conidiophores: Pseudoidium-type; not branched. Conidium Formation: Conidiogenous cells single. Conidia: Ellipsoid; macroconidial, not branched; aseptate.
