Taxonomic Literature: Taxonomic notes: +hyphae ca. 2-8 µm wide, hyaline, septate, branched; +appressoria nipple-shaped to moderately lobed;+conidiophores foot-cells cylindric, straight, occasionally somewhat flexuous, followed by (1-)2(-3) shorter cells or sometimes by a second cell of about the same length, subsequent cells rarely even longer than the foot-cells;. Braun U., Beih. Nova Hedwigia 89: 1-700 [599] (1987).

Biogeography: Continent: Southern America (Chile).

Ecology: Biotroph; phytopathogenic; growing on leaves, epiphyllous (white, thin patches). Host or Phorophyte Taxonomy: Pseudopanax valdiviensis; Pseudopanax, Araliaceae.

Reproduction Strategy: Only known as sterile, asexually reproducing form.

Conidiomata: Present; hyphomycetous.

Conidiophores: Pseudoidium-type; not branched; basal cells (20)-25-35-(40) µm long, 6-12 µm wide. Conidium Formation: Conidiogenous cells single. Conidia: More or less cylindrical; macroconidial, not branched, 30-55 µm long, 13-19 µm wide; aseptate.
