Reproduction Strategy: With sexual (and possible asexual) stages. Ascocarps: Cleistothecioid, orbicular, forming independently from the host thallus or mycelium, scattered, .145-.147-.177 mm in diam.. Margin: External filaments present; straight, 1-1.5 µm long, few, 4-9 per mm², growing between the lower and upper hald of the ascocarp, stiff and straight, not ramified.

Asci: 5-10 asci per ascocarp, indistinctly stipitate, 64-94 µm long, 34-49 µm wide; dehiscence unitunicate.

Ascospores: 1–2 per ascus, spores 2 per ascus, subglobose, ellipsoid, or ovoid, 30-50 µm long, 25-30 µm wide; septa absent.
