Margin: External filaments present (ca. 218-292 µm long); not interlaced, straight, 1 µm long, numerous, 9-23-29 per mm², growing between the lower and upper hald of the ascocarp, stiff and straight, not ramified.

Asci: 11-25 asci per ascocarp, distinctly stipitate, 64-89 µm long, 21-39 µm wide; dehiscence unitunicate.

Ascospores: 1–2 to c. 4 per ascus, spores 2-(3) per ascus, ellipsoid or ovoid, 44-49 µm long, 20-30 µm wide; septa absent.
