Ascocarps: Cleistothecioid, orbicular, forming independently from the host thallus or mycelium, scattered or gregarious, .095-.12 mm in diam.. Margin: External filaments present; mycelioid, few (rudimentary, very short), growing all across the lower half of the ascocarp, not branched.

Asci: 1 asci per ascocarp; dehiscence unitunicate (immature).

Conidiomata: Present; hyphomycetous.
