Biogeography: Continent: Asia-Temperate. Region(s): China (only known from the type collection).

Ecology: Biotroph; phytopathogenic; growing on leaves, hypophyllous. Host or Phorophyte Taxonomy: Alangium sp.; Alangium, Alangiaceae.

Reproduction Strategy: With sexual (and possible asexual) stages (156-177 µm in diam.). Ascocarps: Cleistothecioid, orbicular, forming independently from the host thallus or mycelium, scattered or in loose groups, .156-.177 mm in diam.. Margin: External filaments present (special apical cells clavate); straight, .4 µm long, 14-22 µm in diameter, hyaline, numerous, 100-130 per mm², growing on the upper half of the ascocarp (circularly arranged), not ramified, aseptate.

Asci: 8-17 asci per ascocarp, clavate, distinctly stipitate, 83-108 µm long, 34-49 µm wide; dehiscence unitunicate.

Ascospores: c. 4 to c. 8 per ascus, spores (6)-7-8 per ascus, ellipsoid, ovoid, or oblong-obtuse, 20-29 µm long, 12-18 µm wide; septa absent; wall pale brown (yellowish).

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed.
