Asci: Tholus not thickened; dehiscence unitunicate; exoascus not amyloid, not hemiamyloid.

Ascospores: c. 8 or 16-32 per ascus, ellipsoid, oblong, allantoid, curved, filiform, fusiform, or ovoid, 4-40 µm long, 1.5-3 µm wide, obtuse or aciculate; septa absent or present; transversally septate, 1-1-transversally septate; wall thin or thick, distinctly differentiated into primary and secondary wall, not thickened at the septum, hyaline or pale brown, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed or present.
