Interascal Hyphae: Present, distinctly branched, distinctly anastomosed.

Asci: Tholus not amyloid; ocular chamber broad; dehiscence bitunicate (fissitunicate); exoascus not amyloid, not hemiamyloid.

Ascospores: c. 8 per ascus, ellipsoid, (25)-28-35 µm long, 10-12 µm wide, obtuse; septa present; transversally septate, 1-transversally septate, formed by the proper spore wall; wall thin (slightly thickened at the septae), not constricted where the septum meets the spore wall, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed.

Secondary Metabolites: Not detected.
