Reproduction Strategy: Only known as sterile, asexually reproducing form or with sexual (and possible asexual) stages. Ascocarps: Apothecioid, orbicular, forming all across the thallus surface, becoming adnate to soon sessile. Margin: Distinct; external filaments absent. Exciple: White. Interascal Hyphae: Present, scarcely branched, distinctly anastomosed. Hypothecium: White.

Asci: Tholus not thickened.

Ascospores: c. 4 to c. 8 per ascus, ellipsoid, 10-12-(15) µm long, 7-9.5 µm wide, obtuse; septa absent; wall not thickened at the septum, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed or present; immersed, formed all accross the thallus surface.

Conidiogeneous Cells: Apical. Conidia: Bacilliform.

Secondary Metabolites: Not detected.
