Thallus: Crustose or foliose, placodioid, lobed. Upper Surface: Olive; special structures absent. Lower Surface: Attached by holdfasts; special structures absent.

Reproduction Strategy: Only known as sterile, asexually reproducing form or with sexual (and possible asexual) stages. Ascocarps: Apothecioid, orbicular, forming directly at the thallus margin, soon sessile. Margin: Prominent; external filaments absent. Periphyses: Absent. Interascal Hyphae: Present, scarcely branched, not or scarcely anastomosed.

Asci: Dehiscence lecanoralean.

Ascospores: c. 8 per ascus, filiform, 33-37 µm long, 2.5-3.5 µm wide; septa present; transversally septate, 3-transversally septate; wall thin, not thickened at the septum, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed or present; pycnidial; sessile, formed all accross the thallus surface or along the thallus periphery.

Conidia: Filiform.
