Reproduction Strategy: Only known as sterile, asexually reproducing form or with sexual (and possible asexual) stages. Ascocarps: Apothecioid, orbicular, forming all across the thallus surface. Wall: Fused. Margin: Indistinct to distinct; external filaments absent. Exciple: White. Epithecium: Apical cells black or green. Interascal Hyphae: Present, distinctly branched, distinctly anastomosed. Hypothecium: Brownish yellow.

Asci: Tholus thickened, not amyloid.

Ascospores: c. 8 per ascus, fusiform, 25-34 µm long, 5-8 µm wide, obtuse; septa present; transversally septate, 3-transversally septate; wall thin, not thickened at the septum, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed or present; pycnidial or hyphophorous; formed along the thallus periphery.

Conidiogeneous Cells: Apical. Conidia: Globose.

Secondary Metabolites: Not detected.
