Epithecium: Apical cells brownish yellow. Interascal Hyphae: Present, distinctly branched, not or scarcely anastomosed to distinctly anastomosed. Hypothecium: Brown.

Asci: Tholus thickened, amyloid, entirely amyloid throughout; dehiscence lecanoralean.

Ascospores: 1–2 to c. 4 per ascus, ellipsoid, curved, or cylindrical, 45-115 µm long, 4-35 µm wide, obtuse; septa present; transversally septate or both transversally and longitudinally; wall thin, not thickened at the septum, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed or present; campylidial; sessile, formed all accross the thallus surface.

Conidia: Branched; septate.
