Asci: Tholus not thickened or thickened, not amyloid; dehiscence unitunicate; exoascus not amyloid, not hemiamyloid.

Ascospores: 1–2 to c. 4 per ascus, broadly ellipsoid, ellipsoid, fusiform, or oblong-obtuse, 18-53 µm long, 8-13 µm wide, obtuse or aciculate; septa present; transversally septate, 1-9-transversally septate; wall thick, distinctly differentiated into primary and secondary wall, not thickened at the septum, dark brown, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed or present.
