Reproduction Strategy: Only known as sterile, asexually reproducing form or with sexual (and possible asexual) stages. Ascocarps: Apothecioid, orbicular, forming all across the thallus surface, soon sessile. Margin: Prominent; external filaments absent. Exciple: Light brown or white. Periphyses: Absent. Epithecium: Apical cells brown, hyaline, or brownish yellow. Interascal Hyphae: Present, distinctly branched, not or scarcely anastomosed. Hypothecium: White or brownish yellow.

Asci: Tholus thickened, amyloid, with amyloid cap; dehiscence lecanoralean.

Ascospores: c. 8 per ascus, oblong-obtuse or oblong, 18-26 µm long, 5-9 µm wide, obtuse; septa present; transversally septate, 1-transversally septate; wall thin, not thickened at the septum, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed or present; pycnidial; adnate, formed along the thallus periphery.

Conidia: Bacilliform.

Secondary Metabolites: Not detected.
