Interascal Hyphae: Absent or present, scarcely branched to distinctly branched, not or scarcely anastomosed to distinctly anastomosed.

Asci: Tholus not thickened; dehiscence prototunicate.

Ascospores: Ellipsoid, broadly ellipsoid, oblong, cylindrical, or oblong-obtuse, 5.5-15 µm long, 1.5-4.5 µm wide, obtuse; septa present; transversally septate, 1-7-transversally septate; wall not thickened at the septum, dark brown, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall ornamented.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed or present; pycnidial; sessile.

Conidiogeneous Cells: Apical. Conidia: Globose or bacilliform.
