Thallus: Crustose, not subdivided parts. Upper Surface: Green or brownish yellow; special structures absent. Lower Surface: Attached by the whole lower surface; special structures absent.

Medulla: Iodine reaction in Lugol's solution negative; not different with or without KOH pre-treatment (euamyloid).

Reproduction Strategy: Only known as sterile, asexually reproducing form or with sexual (and possible asexual) stages. Ascocarps: Apothecioid, orbicular, not emerging. Margin: Indistinct to distinct; external filaments absent. Exciple: Black. Periphyses: Absent. Epithecium: Apical cells hyaline or brownish yellow. Hymenium: Iodine reaction: Lugol’s negative, not hemiamyloid. Interascal Hyphae: Present, scarcely branched, not or scarcely anastomosed. Hypothecium: White.

Asci: Tholus thickened, not amyloid.

Ascospores: c. 8 per ascus, ellipsoid, 1 µm long, 1 µm wide, obtuse; septa present; transversally septate, formed by the proper spore wall; wall thin, not thickened at the septum, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed or present; pycnidial; immersed.

Conidia: Globose.

Secondary Metabolites: Not detected.
