Wall: Not carbonized, not fused. Margin: Distinct; external filaments absent. Exciple: White. Epithecium: Apical cells brown. Hymenium: Iodine reaction: Lugol’s positive, not hemiamyloid. Interascal Hyphae: Present, scarcely branched, not or scarcely anastomosed. Hypothecium: Brownish yellow.

Asci: Tholus not amyloid (with amyloid external cap); dehiscence lecanoralean; exoascus not amyloid, not hemiamyloid.

Ascospores: c. 8 per ascus, ellipsoid, (19)-25-30 µm long, (8)-9-12 µm wide, obtuse; septa absent; wall hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall ornamented (with distinct, warted epispore).

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed or present; pycnidial.

Conidia: Bacilliform; not branched; aseptate; cell wall hyaline.

Secondary Metabolites: Not detected.
