Thallus: Fruticose, not subdivided parts. Upper Surface: Brownish yellow; special structures absent. Lower Surface: Attached by holdfasts; special structures absent.

Reproduction Strategy: Only known as sterile, asexually reproducing form or with sexual (and possible asexual) stages. Ascocarps: Apothecioid, orbicular, forming all across the thallus surface, directly at the tip of the thallus parts, soon sessile. Margin: Prominent. Epithecium: Apical cells brown. Interascal Hyphae: Present, scarcely branched, not or scarcely anastomosed. Hypothecium: Brownish yellow.

Ascospores: c. 8 per ascus, 15-18 µm long, 5-7 µm wide; septa present; transversally septate, 3-transversally septate; wall not thickened at the septum, hyaline, pale brown, or dark brown, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall ornamented.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed or present; pycnidial; immersed or sessile, formed all accross the thallus surface.

Conidia: Bacilliform or filiform.

Secondary Metabolites: Not detected.
