Thallus: Crustose, not subdivided parts, placodioid. Upper Surface: Brown; special structures absent. Lower Surface: Attached by the whole lower surface; special structures absent.

Reproduction Strategy: Only known as sterile, asexually reproducing form or with sexual (and possible asexual) stages. Ascocarps: Apothecioid, orbicular, forming all across the thallus surface, becoming adnate to soon sessile. Margin: Indistinct. Hymenium: Iodine reaction: Lugol’s positive. Interascal Hyphae: Present, distinctly branched, distinctly anastomosed.

Asci: Tholus thickened, amyloid, with non-amyloid wide axial body and divergent amyloid flanks towards apex; dehiscence lecanoralean.

Ascospores: More than 32 per ascus, ellipsoid, 2.5-4 µm long, 1.5-2 µm wide, obtuse; septa absent; wall thin, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.
