Reproduction Strategy: With sexual (and possible asexual) stages. Ascocarps: Up to 4 mm in diam.. Margin: Lecideine/biatorine. Disk: Weakly convex to strongly convex, black, epruinose. Exciple: Not carbonized. Epithecium: Apical cells slightly swollen, dark green. Hymenium: White; not inspers. Hypothecium: Brown (medium).

Ascospores: Ellipsoid, 11.5-17 µm long, 5-7.5 µm wide; septa absent.

Conidiophores: Vobis-type V. Conidia: 8.5-11 µm long.
