Ascocarps: Not constricted at the base, .4-1.8 mm in diam.. Margin: Prominent. Disk: Plane to weakly convex; brown; epruinose, pruina abundant. Exciple: Yellow; inspersed with crystals. Epithecium: Apical cells brown or olive. Hymenium: 120-140 µm high.

Ascospores: 1–2 per ascus, 60-100 µm long, 25-30 µm wide; transversally septate; 3-7-transversally septate.

Secondary Metabolites: Hopane-6a,22-diol and pannarin; provisional name(s): 'Megalospora unknown A'and 'Megalospora unknown C'.
