Thallus Size and Differentiation: 8-14-20 cm in diameter; apex rounded. Upper Surface: Lime green, plane, matt, smooth; not fissurate; not foveate; immaculate; epruinose; not pseudocyphellate; ciliate; cilia slender, marginal; isidiate; isidia central or laminal, cylindrical, ramified, coralloid; without isidiomorphs; not papillate, not pustulate; not sorediate; not tuberculate; not lobulate. Lower Surface: Present, black, black in the centre, brown along the margin; attached by holdfasts; not cyphellate; not wrinkled; rhizinate; rhizines sparse, with a broad non-rhizinate margin, black, not branched, irregularly branched; not tuberculate.

Upper Cortex: Double-layered.

Reproduction Strategy: Only known as sterile, asexually reproducing form.

Conidiomata: Absent resp. not observed.
