Thallus: Foliose, lobed; lobes linear (and rather elongate); plane or convex; separate thallus parts.3-1 mm wide. Thallus Size and Differentiation: Up to 2 cm in diameter. Upper Surface: Grey, brown, or grey-brown; pruinose (dssssss); pruina scarce or abundant; continuous or patchy; without hairs (on most lobe ends) or hairy; not isidate; not sorediate. Lower Surface: White (to pale tan) in the centre, white along the margin; rhizinate; rhizines sparse or moderately abundant (sometimes with a slight marginal tendency), white or pale brown, not branched or branched, sparsely furcate.

Upper Cortex: Outer cortical layer prosoplectenchymatous. Medulla: White. Lower Cortex: Absent or present; prosoplectenchymatous (very poorly organized), of periclinal (very poorly organized) hyphae.

Reproduction Strategy: Only known as sterile, asexually reproducing form or with sexual (and possible asexual) stages. Ascocarps: Sparse, up to 1 mm in diam.. Margin: Irregularly crenulate, smooth.

Ascospores: 25-31 µm long, 13-14.5 µm wide.

Secondary Metabolites: Present; metabolite(s) of unresolved identity: present (unidentified terpenoid).
