Thallus: Foliose, lobed; separate thallus parts 2 mm wide. Thallus Size and Differentiation: 30 cm in diameter; apex distinctly broader than average; curved upwards. Thallus Outline: Margin concolorous the thallus centre. Upper Surface: Grey, smooth; eciliate; without hairs; not isidate; lobulate. Lower Surface: Black, loosely attached attached; rhizines moderately abundant, without projections.

Ascospores: Pachysporaria-type, (20)-22-27-(28) µm long, (9)-10-13-(14) µm wide.
