Ecology: Corticolous.

Thallus: Foliose, lobed; separate thallus parts 2 mm wide. Thallus Size and Differentiation: 40 cm in diameter; apex distinctly broader than average; curved upwards. Thallus Outline: Margin concolorous the thallus centre. Upper Surface: Brown, rough; eciliate; without hairs; not isidate; lobulate. Lower Surface: Yellow or brown, firmly attached attached; rhizines moderately abundant, without projections.

Lower Cortex: Paraplectenchymatous, of anticlinal hyphae.

Ascocarps: Moderately abundant, 2 mm in diam.. Margin: Smooth.

Ascospores: Physcia-type or Pachysporaria-type, (19)-22-27-(32) µm long, (9)-10-12-(14) µm wide.

Conidiomata: Sparse or strongly abundant.

Secondary Metabolites: Hopane-6a,22-diol.
