Ascocarps: Perithecioid, subglobose, forming inside the thallus or mycelium of the host, becoming adnate to more or less soon sessile, 64-66 µm wide, 70-85 µm high, with a brown surface. Wall: Not carbonized. Margin: Brown, inhomogenously pigmented, 9-15 µm wide; external filaments absent. Disk: Smooth. Exciple: Paraplectenchymatous; not carbonized, brown to white. Periphyses: Present. Hymenium: Iodine reaction: Lugol’s negative, not hemiamyloid. Interascal Hyphae: Absent. Hypothecium: White.

Asci: Cylindrical to obclavate, indistinctly stipitate, 33-35 µm long, 9999-(IMPORT PROBLEM, please resolve following string manually: '5´.5' (The current numeric data 9999 are inserted only as a placeholder and should be discarded))-9 µm wide; tholus not amyloid; dehiscence bitunicate; exoascus not amyloid, not hemiamyloid; ascoplasm not dextrinoid.

Ascospores: Not uniseriate, c. 8 per ascus, spores 8 per ascus, ellipsoid, 11-13 µm long, 2.5-3.5 µm wide, obtuse; septa present, transversally septate, 1-(2)-transversally septate; lumina apically enlarged, constricted at the centre; wall thin, not constricted where the septum meets the spore wall, hyaline, in Lugol's Solution negative, wall not ornamented.

Conidiomata: Present.

Conidia: Cylindrical; 1.5 µm long, 1 µm wide.

Secondary Metabolites: Not detected.
