Ascocarps: Soon sessile. Disk: Urceolate. Hymenium: 120-140 µm high.

Ascospores: c. 8 per ascus, ellipsoid, (19.5)-24-(30) µm long, (5)-9-(14) µm wide; 3-5-transversally septate; 1-2 longitudinal septa per transversal septum; wall middle brown, in Lugol's Solution negative.

Secondary Metabolites: Diploschistesic acid and lecanoric acid; of the following substance class(es): orcinol depsides.
