Ascospores: c. 8 per ascus, broadly ellipsoid, (20)-23-(26) µm long, (10)-13-(16) µm wide; 4-5-transversally septate; 1-2 longitudinal septa per transversal septum; wall middle brown, in Lugol's Solution negative.

Secondary Metabolites: Lecanoric acid; of the following substance class(es): orcinol depsides.
